Mongolia XXI. Historiographer’s Reflections on the Issue: Graivoronsky V.V. Mongolia at the Beginning of the XXI Century (Policy, Economy, Society)

Abstract
The article analyzes a new monograph written by V.V. Graivoronsky, a famous Russian diplomat and a specialist in Mongolian studies. This monograph deals with the contemporary situation, policy, economics and the Mongolian society: multiparty political system, market economy, demographic and social structure of society, foreign policy. The author of the article refers to other professor’s monographic works on which the reviewed monograph was based. Therefore, the analysis of this fundamental work allows to identify the creative laboratory of the researcher and to present Mongolia in the early XXIst century as a country that has been developing in a new way, has been improving the multiparty system, democracy, emerging market economy, and has been conducting open “multiply supported” foreign policy.
