The Social Structure of the Enlisted Personnel of the 38th Siberian Rifle Reserve Battalion during the Years of the First World War (1914–1917)

Abstract
The article deals with the social structure of the recruits of the 38th Siberian Rifle Reserve Battalion of the Omsk military district. The level of training of the enlisted personnel was different due to their social structure. Based on materials of the State Archive of Novosibirsk Region, the author generates the portrait of an average Siberian soldier of the Russian Army of those years.
