Abstract
The article attempts to describe the archives of the Laboratory for the History of Siberia, founded by Historical Faculty of Irkutsk State University in the course of the field studies in Eastern Siberia in 1963–1989. Currently the archives are in Irkutsk Historical Museum, where they are being arranged to be introduced into the scientific use.
