Consciousness of the Russian Old Residents of Nizhnyaya Kolyma in the Context of Economic and Sociocultural Transformation

Abstract
On the basis of historical documents and questinnaire details, gathered during the expedition to Nizhnyaya Kolyma in 2013, the author analyzes the transformation of consciousness of the Russian old residents. The paper considers the changes in the residents’ labor activity, traditional culture and dialect, family values and religious views.
