Urban Development of Irkutsk Under the Government of M. M. Speransky

Abstract
The article considers the urban development of the provincial Irkutsk in 1819–1822s under the rule of M. M. Speransky, the Governor-General of East Siberia. The author highlights the fact that the Siberian reform, carried out by M. M. Speransky, legislated tendencies of the development of Siberian cities.
