Abstract
Kyiv Pechersk Lavra contributed to the development of the art of photography, its types and directions, and also patronized a lot of Kyiv’s well-known photographers at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries. A lot of interesting and little-known documents kept at Kiev historical archive and confirming the role of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra in the development of photography at the middle XIX – the beginning XX century.
