Abstract
The cultural image of the pre-revolutionary Siberian bureaucracy is shown. The positive and negative qualities of civil servants of the Yenisei province administration have been revealed. The conclusions of the contradictory image of the local administrators of the outskirts of the Russian Empire are presented.
