Abstract
The article contains a historiographical review of the scientific work on the history of entrepreneurship in pre-revolutionary Siberia, doctor of historical Sciences, Professor Yury Mikhailovich Goncharov. Y. M. Goncharov is representative of the Barnaul research school of business history and urban history in Siberia. An important point in the article is paid to the methodology and the research questions, a new historiographical subjects in the scientific works of the historian.
