Abstract
The article concerns the relationship between the Vice-Governor A. P. Zholobov and Irkutsk clergy. Its hostile nature resulted in that in February, 1733 Irkutsk clergy took part in actions against A. P. Zholobov, which became known as “Irkutsk rebellion”.
