Abstract
The article reveals the role of Peter Alexeyevich Kropotkin, who, besides being notorious as a revolutionary-anarchist, was an outstanding scientist and naturalist. The author analyzes his activity in the East Siberian Branch of the Imperial Russian Geographical Society. Besides, the author review his works, which are stored in the Book Fund of Irkutsk Regional Museum or Local Lore.
