Governor Scripitsyn’s Activity in Regard to “The Jewish Question”: Counter to the Imperial Policy

Abstract
The article describes the attitude of Scripitsyn, the Governor of Yakut governorate, towards the Jewish settlers in Siberia. The author points out that the Governor-General’s position varied considerably from the legal imperial policy.
