Region as an Alternative Form of Regional Governance in the Northeast of the Russian Empire

Abstract
In the report, the regional form of regional management will be considered in the Yakut example. Through the application of the historical-comparative method, it is planned to identify the general and particular in imperial politics on the outskirts and try to determine the historical place of regional administration in the state system of the country.
