Abstract
The article discusses the national liberation movement in Hulun Buir in the first third of the XX century. The author analyzed the causes and course of the rebellion 1912, and revealed the role of Russian policy in the region. The article examines the activities of the Panchen Lama IX in Buddhist monasteries. The author obtained new data on the conduct of Buddhist worship and collect donations.
