Irkutsk as Comintern Outpost on the Far East (1920–1922)

Abstract
The article examines the role and place of Irkutsk as Comintern outpost on the Far East. In Irkutsk there was based the Mongolian-Tibetan department of Far East secretariat of the 3rd International. This department carried out the revolution activity in Mongolia, China, Tibet, Japan and Korea, E.-D. Rinchino played a large part in the activities.
