Abstract
The author considers the formation of the regional Siberian identity in the XIXth century. The importance of socio-cultural factors that influenced on the formation of the regional community of the Siberians is highlighted. The article describes various models of self-identification that developed in the region under the influence of the integration of indigenous and newcomers during the formation of the Siberian society.
