The Opposition Movement in Irkutsk in 1906–1914: Some Problems of Development

Abstract
In article features of the opposition movement in Irkutsk after the First Russian revolution are considered. The general falling of public activity of inhabitants of Irkutsk is noted that is explained by introduction of martial law, withdrawal of a part of the intellectuals from revolutionary movement and also continuous arrests and considerable reduction of number of the political exiled who were traditionally serving by "nutrient medium" for vigorous oppositional activity. The given actual material demonstrates reorientation of the Irkutsk socialists mainly on legal methods of work.
