Military and Judicial System and Its Features in Troops of the Priamurye Military District (1884–1917)

Abstract

The history of the Priamurye military district in the context of transformation of military and judicial system of the Russian Empire in the second half of the 19th century is covered in article. The structure of military courts and a duty of judges reveal; characteristics of military and judicial system of the District are allocated and described; activity of military and public prosecutor's supervision is considered. This direction of a research is complemented with consideration of the changes in military and judicial system made by Provisional government after the February events of 1917. In article new material on the studied subject is generalized, little-known documents and materials are introduced for scientific use.
