The Siberian View of the Imperial Siberian History: Professor L. M. Dameshek’s Three Volumes Book Review

Abstract

The article is devoted to the three volumes edition which is called “Selected Works” by the prominent Siberian scientist L. M. Dameshek. “Selected Works” are devoted to the issues of the interaction between the center and its outskirts in the context of the Russian History of the State System. The serious historical background is underlined in the investigation and the important conceptual basis is used in the mentioned work. The analysis of the long-term scientist’s work allows us to characterize the marginal policy, to evaluate the governing system, also to trace the strengthening of the geopolitical positions of the Russian Empire in the East. The serious notional basis of the Siberian Studies in the investigation is marked.
