The Diary of Professor F. A. Kudryavtsev as a Source
for the History of the History Department of Irkutsk
State University in the 1960s
The authors have prepared for publication a diary of a doctor of historical Sciences, Professor Kudryavtsev, stored in the state archive of the Irkutsk region. The text demonstrates intense scientific and socio-educational activities Kudryavtseva as a chair head of the History of the USSR, chairman of the society of Soviet-Mongolian friendship, lecturer society «Knowledge». In this document there is much focus on the story about the preparation for the 50th anniversary of Irkutsk state University (1968), which, according to the authors, is especially important today.
