In article is considered the relations of the art intellectuals of Buryat-Mongolia with power in the structure of the Soviet society in 1920–1930th. The author made an attempt to study and give an objective assessment to the organization and carrying out ideological campaigns of the power in the sphere of culture during that period. Process of implementation party's resolutions concerning culture and art on places is reconstructed on the base of archival document’s analysis on the example of the national republic.
