Province of the ХIХ – beginning of XX centuries: the Collective monography / scientist editor prof. L. M. Dameshek». Illumination by authors of the basic questions of mutual relation of authority and city community of Irkutsk province in ХIХ-beginning XX centuries is considered. The analysis is given to studying of problems of management of the Asian Russia, changes of urban population in Irkutsk province, a role of institutions of local government in public life of cities, to activity of political exiled the end of the ХIХ-beginning of XX centuries. The conclusion about value of research in studying a history of Siberia the imperial period is made.
