This article discovers the administrative career of the official – Apollon Davydovich Lokhvitsky from a translator to the Governor of the Yakutsk region and Yenisei province. The main directions of his activities as the Yakut governor have been highlighted. As a methodological guideline, several types of biographical analysis, which were classified by D. Walker, such as personality biography, professional and situational.
