The memoir and epistolary legacy of the closest circle of the famous journalist, editor, ideologist of Oblastnichestvo N.M. Yadrintsev are attracted. A number of aspects of his journalistic and editorial activities are highlighted, which were noted by contemporaries and transmitted to subsequent generations. The main behavioral, professional and communication skills of Yadrintsev are considered.
