Abstract
The article dedicated to the development of the awarding system and Siberian teaching
encouragement is offered to the readers. On the basis of a wide range of sources, the authors characterize the regulatory and legal regulation of the awarding system of the Russian Empire, accessible to
Western Siberian teaching, and also demonstrate an analysis of award practices in the region, paying
particular attention to the diversity of those awarded according to a number of criteria: education,
disciplines read, position, etc. In conclusion, the authors define the key characteristics of the process
under study in dynamics.
