Abstract
This article is a review of the collection of letters and memoirs of Academician
N. N. Pokrovsky, published by Novosibirsk historians and archaeographers in 2022. The published
materials reflect the formation of Pokrovsky as a historian, show his activities as an organizer of
science, reflect the personal qualities of a scientist.
