Abstract
The article explores newspaper The Eastern Review’s point of view in connection of the Amur General Government creation. The edition, giving floor to all the participants of the discussion regardless of their judgment, nevertheless, definitely stated its own look at the problem: need for new General Government including Transbaikal Region and uselessness of Eastern Siberian General Government.
