Formation and Development of Physical Culture and Sports in the Yenisei Province at the End of the 19th – First Quarter of the 20th Century

Abstract
The article examines the process of the initial formation of physical culture and sports in the Yenisei province. Sports related to the traditional lifestyle of the population are highlighted, as well as new ones that appeared at the beginning of the twentieth century. Much attention is paid to the sports society “Sokol”.
