Heroes of Khalkhin-Gol in the Works of Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor I. I. Kuznetsov: To the 100th Anniversary of the Scientist’s Birth

Abstract
The article is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Russian scientist, specialist in the history of wars and armed conflicts in the 20th c., in which the Soviet Union took part, doctor of historical sciences, professor, Honored scientist of the Russian Federation – Kuznetsov Ilya Innokentievich. The article focuses on the scientist’s works about history of Khalkhin-Gol, which highlight the creators of victory – the Heroes of the Soviet Union and Heroes of the Mongolian People’s Republic. The author emphasizes that it was professor I. I. Kuznetsov, using the award reports, correspondence with the war participants, memoirs, newspaper articles, became the founder of a whole movement – Heroes of Khalkhin-Gol.
