Abstract
The article reviews the anniversary edition published in Irkutsk to mark the 100th anniversary of the Decembrist uprising. The issue “Siberia and the Decembrists” marks the beginning of the
formation of the Siberian school of Decembrist studies. The publication laid down the directions of
studying the topic and the traditions of its representation in the scientific press. The subject matter
and structure of the publication have become traditional for Siberian Decembrist studies.
