Features of Children's and Youth Press in Eastern Siberia in 1917–1920s

Abstract
The article examines the influence of the events of the Russians revolutions and the civil war on the content of children's and youth periodicals. It analyzes newspapers and magazines published by schools, student unions and scout organizations of the cities of Eastern Siberia (Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Yakutsk, Chita) from 1917 to 1920. The large number of youth mass-medias and their various content are associated with relatively weak state regulation of the youth press compared to the later period.
