Abstract
This article examines the main theoretical positions of Russian scholars on the regional history of economic and demographic development in the Central Federal District in the 2000s– 2010s. Using systemic, comparative historical, and problem-chronological research methods, we analyzed publications by contemporary scholars on the history of spatial-economic and regional demographic development in all regions of Central Russia.
