Irkutsk Kadets in the Election Campaigns for the Election
of State Duma Members nof the Russian Empire

Abstract
The article is devoted to the current issues related to the history of the formation of parliamentarism in the Russian Empire. Based on a wide range of sources, the author analyzes the political activity of the Irkutsk branch of the People's Freedom Party during the elections of State Duma
members of the Russian Empire in the first to fourth convocations. As a result of the study, conclusions were formulated about the intensity of political activity of the Irkutsk Cadets in 1905–1912,
and the significance of their influence on the outcome of the elections of State Duma deputies in the
Irkutsk province and the city of Irkutsk was assessed.
