Heroic History of Chita City

Abstract
Chita city claims honorary title of the “City of Military Glory” which was established by the Federal Act N 68 of 9 May 2006. To be entitled Chita has incontestable historical reasons and considerable legal merits. In the spring in 1920 in close proximity to the city showed courage, persistence, and mass heroism in the fight against Japanese Occupants. The expulsion of the invaders got the name “Elimination of Chita’s Blockage” which considerably determined the outcome of the war of liberation the territory of Transbaikalia and Far East from the interveners. The liberation of Chita against Japanese interveners makes an integral part of the city’s military history. It entails important for the Russian history events since the midst of the XVIIth century.
