Abstract

The article deals with the process of formation of historical education in Irkutsk State University in the first years of activity. It considers the process of formation and evolution of the organizational structure on historical disciplines. The author reveals that the first trainers graduated from the Russian universities, had experience in scientific and pedagogical activity, and taught several disciplines at Irkutsk University. The author provides scientific and pedagogical portraits of teachers of the period under review.
