Abstract
The article deals with new historical sources – service records by Yu. V. Rayevsky, the son of the Decembrist V. F. Rayevsky, as well as his memoirs on service-related journeys through Amur at the beginning of its reclaiming. The author reconstructs the biography of Yu. V. Rayevsky, and describes his relationship with father.
