Abstract
The article concerns an alternative direction for research on the Decembrists. Besides the issues on the Decembrists movement and its history, as well as the noble revolutionaries’ destinies, the author suggests to study the nature of the attitude of different Russian social classes towards the revolutionaries in different historical periods.
