Urbanized Areas Formation in the Baikal Siberia within the Context of Peculiarities of Urbanization in Siberia

Abstract

The article deals with the problems of urbanized areas formation in the Baikal Siberia. It considers the history of the first Russian cities and fortresses and points out the reasons of their futher extension. The article analyses the formal cities and urbanized areas rate: fortress, suburban areas and factories' communities, as well as their relationship with rural districts.
