Abstract

The article deals with the possibilities and validity of the study of the history of the Russian Orthodox Church in Yakutia in the context of the reconstruction of the spiritual community as one of the elements of the formation of the intellectual landscape of the national outskirts, the identification of group and individual characteristics of representatives of the spiritual estate Yakutia. The priority of the Orthodox Church in social and educational activity is justified, its successive expansion of Christian cultural systems, conditioned by the specifics of the region. A conclusion was drawn on the significant role of representatives of the spiritual community in creating the intellectual potential of the national outskirts.
