Abstract

The article highlights the influence of foreign policy aspects on the development of bilateral relations between Russia and China in the energy sector: US global dominance; the diversity of regional interests and their mismatch; national interests of each player in the energy market; politicization of some decisions; increasing the influence and number of adherents of “green energy” among politicians; interstate projects.
