Author(s)
M. N. Baldano
Abstract

This article, based on the materials of the State Archives of the Republic of Buryatia, shows the transfer of industrial enterprises of the Buryat-Mongolian ASSR to the military production, commissioning of evacuated enterprises, accelerated construction of new production capacities, mobilization of material and labor resources. The author contributes to the debunking and refutation the claims about the lack of social cohesion during the severe years of War and about the fact that the Soviet people won not thanks to, but contrary to the CPSU leadership.
