Medical Societies of the East Siberian Cities in the Second Half of the 19th Century: Prerequisites for Creation and Results of the Initial Stage of Activity. Part 2

Abstract
The article discusses the social and political conditions that contributed to the creation of medical communities, the formation of professional cooperation for the exchange of experience, the development of consolidated efforts aimed at protecting public health. On the basis of historical sources, the initial stage of the activity of three medical societies that existed in Eastern Siberia in the second half of the 19th century is analyzed. It is interesting to compare the levels of implemented activities and the productivity of work forms. The second part of the article is devoted to the activities of the Societies of Physicians of the Yenisei Province (Krasnoyarsk) and Physicians of Transbaikalia (Chita).
