Scientific Heritage of the Scientist-koreaist Igor Alekseyevich Hegay: Pages of Memory

Abstract
The main milestones of the biography and scientific heritage of the scientist-koreaist I. A. Hegay are considered. Its contribution to studying an ethnic question in Siberia at a boundary of the 19th–20th centuries is noted. The research I. A. Hegay of the reasons and stages of the Korean emigration to Russia, China and the USA is shown. Names of many political refugees, participants of various anti-Japanese societies are revealed. Gave special attention of I. A. Hegay to studying the centers of the Korean emigration in the Far East, armed struggle and cultural and educational activity of emigrants in Russia and China. Authors drew a conclusion on value of researches of I. A. Hegay in the field of studying history of Korea.
