Modern Regional Policy of the European Union

Abstract
The article examines the main directions, objectives and thematic focus of the modern
regional policy of the European Union. Structural funds and other financial instruments of cohesion
policy are considered separately. Attention is paid to the distribution of the budget between the EU
structural funds in the new financial period 2021–2027.
