The Diplomatic Discourse of the USSR and the PRC in 1955–1990s: Confrontation and Partnership

Abstract
The study is focused on the relations between USSR and PRC between 1955 and 1990. The diplomatic discourse of both states is analyzed using diplomatic documents, statements by heads of state, and publications from periodicals. The diplomatic discourse between the USSR and the People's Republic of China differs significantly in tone, which is indicative of their approaches to inter-state interactions.
