Abstract

The article analyzes the monograph by M. M. Plotnikova. The main focus is on the issues, concerning urbanism problems in Siberian historiography, and general analysis of the problems under consideration. It concludes that the author managed to present in a new light the history of formation and development of towns in Eastern Siberia, taking into consideration foreign literature, as well as applying to the new resources, introduced for the first time into scientific use.
